Things were going on in our family and not the good kind,it was affecting my younger brother very hard. So me and my mother discussed on getting him his own dog. I was about to leave for college and my own dog Molly was coming with me. So having her leave was not helping him either. We agreed that it had to be a small dog but also a puppy because my brother wanted to watch him grow and we had already had experience with training. So onto Petfinder we went to find a small,male dog that was good with cats and dogs. We happen to stumble apon murphy who was 14 weeks old and was a dauchond,spaniel mix. We talked to the rescue and the foster mom and had a home visit my brother and him instantly bonded and it was love at first sight,so on the same day we adopted him. My brother even paid the $300 for his adoption and when i get the chances to come home molly loves to snuggle with her brother murphy. Adoption was the best choice and we couldnt be happier with our new family member. Its been almost a year now and the love between my brother and murphy is still so strong. Hes a great little dog and made my brother very happy.
