Webber's Story

Submitted by: carol lickwar

I have always loved animals, but due to my job as a flight attendant I always adopted cats. When I could hold turns (that means I could fly a trip and come home the same day) I couldn't wait to adopt a dog. Having never owned a dog before my friends who had dogs all their lives suggested I adopt a small female dog. Rusty's Story

Submitted by: Jerry Barker

Rusty Four weeks ago we lost Annabelle and several days later I wrote her story on here. All three of us said at the time we didn't want another dog. I got him to be company to Rambunctious, another from Pointer Rescue dog. When Rambunctious passed in 2008 I rescued Hennessy from an...

Submitted by: Larry Steffes

Our two current dog/children, Teddy & Jaxx were adopted from Arizona Poodle Rescue. We were blessed with Teddy (a Standard Poodle) nearly 10 years ago. His original owner purchased him in California as a Christmas present for his parents. Unfortunately they did not want such a large dog and he was donated to APR. We have had Standard Poodles for nearly 40 years and he is one of the best! At 10 years old Teddy is st...
