Except for 1 time in 1985 I have been rescuing dogs from the ASPCA and Humane organizations. I am currently on nos 6 & 7.

Jake was abandoned in a cage by the side of the road with his brother whom someone else adopted. I got him from Pointer rescue and had to travel to Md to get him. I got him to be company to Rambunctious, another from Pointer Rescue dog.

When Rambunctious passed in 2008 I rescued Hennessy from animal control in Briarcliff. I had to wait a few weeks until they were able to release her. I currently also volunteer at the Putnam Humane Society as a walker for the dogs there. Bess (deaf) and Blue, 2 of my favorites.
